Looking for a Toronto based a florist in 2025?

If the internet robots have done their thing correctly, you’ve landed here with the exact intent of looking for a Toronto based florist in 2025. Howdy internet, I’m your girl.

I go by Rachel and I’ve been working in the florist industry for nearly 3 years; bold colours, quirky designs, out of the box briefs, and intimate weddings are my vibe. I’m an artist at heart - painting large scale canvases, redesigning my apartment every quarter, and ‘playing with flowers’ for your special events. Being self-employed for close to 8 years, I pride myself on my friendly professionalism, timely responses, and memorable work.

This is the beginning of a New Year and it recently dawned on me that asides from listing my services on my website, I haven’t “shouted from the rooftops” saying: I’M A FLORIST AND HERE’S WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU!

So, let’s get into it, shall we? Here’s the kind of flower magic I’m whippin’ up this year.

Brand Activations

This is easily some of my favourite work to produce because every brief is SO different, so unexpected and comes with it’s set of specific brand requirements.

Having my own brand, and working with dozens of brands - from start up to luxury retail - I know how important it is to stick to brand guidelines while executing a vision that feels unique and memorable.

Whether you’re screening the latest Netflix premiere and need 200 beautiful bouquets, Amazon looking for an epic floral wall, or Activia hosting a forum inspired by guts...I’m totally your girl.

In 2024 alone, I had the honour of working with Sephora, Marc Jacobs, TD, Lululemon, Fitzrovia, Balenciaga, Amazon, Visa, Tease Tea, CBC and even Netflix.

So, if your PR firm is looking for a Toronto based florist for your upcoming activation, rest assured, I’ve had a lot of experience managing brand expectations.

We hired Make Lemonade to create a flower bar with custom bouquets for our 250-person event. Rachel was a pleasure to work with - collaborative, communicative & creative. Our client & guests all loved the flowers and the whole process was simple & clear. I would happily recommend Make Lemonade & definitely use them again in the future.

We are repeat clients of Rachel’s. She has unique and creative ideas, her systems are easy to work with, and she brings a genuine love for what she does into each job. It’s so reassuring to work with vendors who take so much pride in their work, and Rachel always leads with a refreshing optimism that makes you feel like anything is doable. We look forward to our next event with Make Lemonade!

Private Events

Ah, don’t we just love a Toronto wedding? For me personally, I love a small scale, intimate affair that has a solid theme and good people.

But that’s not to say I can’t handle the 250+ head counts either!

You’re good people, right? As long as you’re within the GTA and you have a sliver of a vision for your wedding, Bat Mitzvah, Anniversary or Birthday Party etc… PLEASE CALL ME! I’ve worked with dozens and dozens of couples to bring their wedding florals to life and I have just a handful left for 2025 as of typing!

No idea is too out-there (in fact, the more out-there, the better) and we’re here to help you celebrate, capture, and mark this moment with the most gorgeous flowers.

All of the details for booking your Private Event Florals this year can be found here. 🌸

Rachel designed the flowers for my wedding in June and they EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! She captured my vision perfectly and was a DREAM to work with. We recently got our wedding photos back and we keep getting complimented on how amazing our flowers were. They were so bright, colourful, fun and unique. I can’t recommend Make Lemonade enough!

Mobile Workshops

Although I share some behind the scenes from time to time on Instagram, my cute little studio isn’t open for the public. Being the social butterfly that I am, I couldn’t let my lack of studio space hold me back from what I truly love to do: teach.

So, I pack up all of the flowers into the car and bring them to you! I absolutely love leading a floral workshop - the vibes are just so lovely and the people are wonderful.

From small workshops for bachelorette and birthday parties to large corporate events, I’m not even going to be shy when I say this: I’m great with people.

This year I have a goal of leading 100 people in a workshop…could that be your company team building event?!

I bring everything you could imagine: all of the gorgeous flowers, snips, vases, travel boxes, flower care tips and my vibrant personality for a super engaging workshop.

This year I have a few options for workshops:

Public Workshops - if I generate enough interest, I’ll sell tickets (expect the price point to be around$125/pp)
Private Workshops - this is where my magic shines: I come to you.
DIY Workshop Kit - I’ve been beta testing this out where I drop off all of the items to you, and you get a pre-recorded video of me leading design instruction. $100/pp with a minimum of 10 people. If you have interest in this option, please let me know in the Inquiry Form!

Rachel has such a unique brain and style, her floristry skills are amazing and every arrangement I’ve got from her has been STUNNING. She’s hosted workshops and even done installations for events at my space and she really delivered, adding elements to the greenery and flowers that I would’ve never even thought of. Rachel truly has an eye for floristry. All the flowers are fresh and she has so much knowledge… I’d definitely work with her again, a million percent 🤎🤎🤎

Easy huh?!

Happy, healthy floristry

With just under a decade of experience working for myself, I know my best methods to make magic, and what’s a recipe for diaster.

Choosing quality over quantity means I’m not overworked, stressed or exhausted. I’m committed to being my best self so that I can create my best floral work for you, and all with a smile.

I’m a florist who whole-asses it for you. Rather than half-assing it, I’m totally focused on your special event; when you book me for your floral events, I’m truly dedicated to making them incredibly beautiful, special, and intentional.

This means I’ll always have my OOO on so I can prioritize your floral work, you’ll see me post about being at the gym so I can get strong to lift those buckets and buckets of flowers, and I’ll be travelling more in 2025, so I can seek worldly inspiration to infuse in our work together this year.

I’m wishing you a happy, healthy, and BLOOMING 2025 and I can’t wait to work together! 💘
