We’re a really lovely bunch & 3 years later, we said goodbye. 💔
In May 2020, The Get Sh*t Done Club, the membership, was officially born.
It all started in 2020 when our coworking space closed. Literally overnight we had to rally together to keep our community connected: from IRL to URL.
We first offered this community gathering as a 4-Week thing. It worked really well: 40 of us tuned into Zoom calls from across Canada. So, we thought: ‘okay, let’s do it again!’ So another group joined for another 4 weeks and it worked really, really, well.
So, what do you do when the world is closed with no signs of opening up and you have a community eager to continue to connect? You keep doing the thing for nearly 3 years!
But, if you were nosey…
…you’ll have noticed we went from coworking community to, um, floristry?!
Yep, our founder Rachel - while running the virtual community - took a floristry class that changed her life. We’re all about making lemonade, turning our pivots into gold, dabbling into doing, and celebrating with our community.
With The Club’s 3-year anniversary, we officially closed our coworking chapter and let Make Lemonade bloom into something else (see what we did there?).
Accountability is our #1 promise.
Accountability was the number one reason our members, er, lemons, said they kept coming back. Holding you to whatever you’re working on: whether it’s a new business you’re dreaming up, you just quit your job, or maybe you completely love your job but need a soft space to connect with like-minded individuals. Whatever your reason is to join a collective of wonderful humans, the Get Sh*t Done Club is a welcoming community to land.
Our Community Guidelines
🌈 In this community, we believe Black lives matter, Trans rights are human rights, Love is Love, Women’s rights are human rights, no human is illegal, science is real, and kindness is everything.
🌿It ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. We keep it real. Open and honest conversations are essential to being the best versions of ourselves, and that all starts with how you choose to show up!
✏️We don’t all work the same way. Some of us have kids at home or have disabilities and sensitivities that affect how we experience the world. This is a shared space, so it’s important to be respectful of others’ needs and wishes, thoughtful about the language you use, and mindful of the space you take up.
💘It starts with taking care of you. You come first, even when life gets hectic and it feels like you have a never-ending to-do list. We’re here to support your big, beautiful dreams, but it’s not all about the hustle and grind: we care about you as a human first.
